Member Room Commands


Making/Deleting the Room - How to create a room or delete it.
`newroom [name] - Create a new room (one allowed per user).
`rdelete - Delete this (member-created) room.

Setting the Room Name/picture - Controlling how the room looks.
`rname (title) - Rename the current (member-created) room to (title).
`rpicture [filename] - Control this (member-created) room's background image.

Hiding the Room - Controlling if the room is listed on the room list.
`rhide [on|off] - Control hiding the current (member-created) room from users.
`runhide - Cease hiding the current (member-created) room from users.

Controlling Room Access - Controlling entry to the room.
`rpassword [password] - Control password protection for the current (member-created) room.
`rowner (user) - Transfer ownership of the current (member-created) room to (user).
`rguests [on|off] - Control whether guests are allowed in this (member-created) room.
`rclose - Close this (member-created) room to further visitors.
`ropen - Open the current (member-created) room to visitors.
`rkick (user) - Kick a user out of the current (member-created) room.
`runkick (user) - Cancel the kicking out of from this (member-created) room.

Controlling Room Permissions - Controlling features in the room.
`rpainting [on|off] - Control painting in the current (member-created) room.
`rscripts [on|off] - Control use of scripts in the current (member-created) room.

New Member Room Owner Commands - New commands for member room owners from the new PlugAll plugin.
`rbanlist - Allows the owner of a member room to list the people currently rkicked, rgagged, rpinned, or rpropgagged in the room.
`rgag (username) - prevents the user from chatting or whispering in the room. It may be whispered or the target user may be named. When the user leaves the room, the gag is suspended until the user reenters the room. Note that wizards and the room owner not affected by this command.
`rlimit [on|off] - Causes the room to limit the ammount of sliding, moving, spoofing, dropping props, avatar changing, and a few other things users can do to cause lag. If `rlimit is entered without a parameter, the current setting is displayed.
`rlockdown - Acts as a macro combining `rscripts off, `rpaint off, and `rlimit on.
`rnodupavatars [on|off] - Prevents two user from wearing the same avatar in the room. If `rnodupavatars is entered without a parameter, the current setting is displayed. Note that wizards and the room owner are not affected by this command.
`rnolooseprops [on|off] - Allows member room owners to prevent loose props from being dropped in their rooms. If `rnolooseprops is entered without a parameter, the current setting is displayed. Note that wizards and the room owner are not affected by this command.
`rpin (username) - Pins the target user while in the member room. It may be whispered or the target user may be named. When pinned, the user is kept in the lower right corner of the room and forced to wear the chains prop.When the user leaves the room, the pin is suspended until the user reenters the room. Note that wizards and the room owner are not affected by this command.
`rpropfreeze [on|off] - Freezes all loose props in the room. Other users can't move or delete them. (Other users may copy them.) If `rpropfreeze is entered without a parameter, the current setting is displayed. Along with `rnolooseprops, this command gives the room owner control of loose props in the room. Note that wizards and the room owner are not affected by this command.
`rpropgag (username) - Prevents a user from wearing props in the room. It may be whispered or the target user may be named. The user may again wear props after leaving the room, until reentering the room. Note that wizards and the room owner not affected by this command.
`rungag (username) - Undoes the effect of a `rgag command. It may be whispered or the target user may be named.
`runpin (username) - Undoes the effect of a `rpin command. It may be whispered or the target user may be named.
`runpropgag (username) - Undoes the effect of a `rpropgag command. It may be whispered or the target user may be named.

New Member Room User Commands - New commands for member room users from the new PlugAll plugin.
`rpage (message) - Allows anyone in a member room to send a message to that room's owner. The owner may use the `respond command to send a response..
`rtake - Allows anyone to take ownership of a member room after the owner has been disconnected for 2 minutes.
`rwho - Tells you if the current room has an owner.


Tips

All member room commands that require a username can be whispered to the user instead of typing there name.

Don't abuse your member room commands or your room will become unpopular.

If someone abuses there commands just go to another member room. If a member room owner pins or gags you the effects will be lost once you leave until you return to that room.

If you try to make a member room and it says you already own one make sure you are a member and have a registration code. If you don't you can get one free at http://www.avatarpalace.net/register/

If you would like your own member room back ground you can make your own and email it as an attachment to joe@avatarpalace.net. You may only have one back ground per person and it must be unique from all the others and in good quality. It should be 512 x 384 pixels saved in .jpg or .gif format. If if it is in .gif format please make sure to have the palace palette applied. (Pleas note that not all of the submited back grounds are accepted, you will be notified if yours is, please be patieint it may take a few weeks from when you send it to hear back if it is accepted.)
