There are 3 different types of palace clients, there is the original client , bhlabs.com's phalanx client, and pawn's palchat. The original lacks what the 2 new cliends support which is high end graphic avatars, while the old one you need a palette to do everything almost , the new ones allow you to import the avatars no mater what size it is, the programs will resize the images , and you will rarely loose any quality where as the old one, you're limited to color and the images don't look as great. So anyways with out further adieu the downloads.

This client is for people with computers supporting the operating systems Windows 95, 98, XP, ME, and Vista plus a Mac version. It's somewhat limited in editing and graphics are low end.

What's the Palace? ..... It's interactive, graphic chat software. You and those you are chatting with appear as images and names called Avatars. The chat messages appear as cartoon-style talk balloons. Some people are quite creative at making their own Avatars. The chat rooms at each Palace server are pictures with active spots such as doors linking to other rooms on the server, Avatar dispensers, animations, sounds and other interactive things.

Avatar Palace began its humble beginnings in the beginning of November, 2000, after the close of its predecessor, ThePalace.com's Avatar Palace. AP's current owner, Joe, was a regular at the old AP, and distressed at its demise, realized all the users would have nowhere to go. Hence, Av Palace was born, conceived of a desire for users to congregate without the constraints of a conservative environment.
